He is the Firm’s Managing Partner. He has been in the practice of the law since the year 2001. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in law from Moi University and a Diploma in Legal Studies from the Kenya School of Law. He is a Certified Secretary, Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths.
His journey as a practitioner has seen him traverse the legal field initially as a commercial litigator in a leading law firm in the country, to the public sector rising to become General Counsel and Corporation Secretary in a public sector corporation and in a private sector company in the telecommunications sector. In addition to his legal training, he is an accomplished manager having been trained as a business leader at Harvard Business School in the Program for Leadership Development, and understands the unique relationship and the convergence of legal services and commercial transactions.
In the year 2011, he was inducted into the Kenya Institute Management Hall of Fame for introducing private sector management skills in the public sector.
In view of his diverse background and experience working in both the public and private sectors, he has specialized in complex commercial transactions including but not limited to contracts, mergers and acquisitions, telecommunications, capital markets, energy law, sport and entertainment law, construction law, company law, Conveyancing and Public sector matters including Public Private Partnership frameworks, legislative drafting and public sector reforms.
